Project "Measuring-up: Retraining and Improving the Academy" is Erasmus+ К2 Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education project. It meets European and national priorities: teacher training and education sciences.

Project is a training program in new pedagogical techniques - Project Based Learning and Learning by Development - that uses short curses, held in collaboration with local companies, to convey, train and sediment this approach along the implementation of an expandable and flexible e-Learning platform in 5 Ukrainian Universities. The short courses will be the vehicle that will bridge a concrete multi-sectorial problem, based in a product or a service of a local company, to train the involved teachers in the execution of a Project Based Learning and Learning by Development in the benefit of the company and students enrolled in the course.

The interconnection of course making and new pedagogical methodologies aided on e-learning platforms, the training on advanced use of e-learning platforms and the training in new pedagogical approaches such as gaming or simulation are also innovative elements of the project.
